POKEMON AUSTRALIAN CONNECTION TOUR 07

The Pokemon Connection Tour took place all over Australia and was held to help celebrate the release of Pokemon Diamond and Pearl on the Nintendo DS. There was a tournament held as well as Nintendo Wii and DS stations to play the latest games. Trivia also took place and random people who anwsered questions correctly won prizes, so anyway below are pictures of the event with captions so I hope you enjoy it!


Okay firstly this is the free gift given out to Nintendo Australia members who showed their SMS.


Here is the main stage where the tournament and Trivia took place.


You can see all the prizes for the Trivia questions on the floor.


This is the sign at the entrace of the event.


This is the giant DS where you can watch the main battles take place.


This is the event from further away, the table with the blue light is where the DS Touch Generation games were.


Here are some prizes for Pokemon Trivia, there was Diamond and Pearl DS Cases, Diamond and Pearl and other Wii and DS games, Walkthrough Guides, Nintendo T-Shirts, DS Microphones and Pokemon Action Figures and Plush toys, some of which were from Pokemon Center in the US.


This is the gift I won from the Trivia, I was asked "What colour is Kirby?"... Easy wasn't it? XD
And no, the DS was not included, thats mine.


Above us was this giant poster, it doesn't look that big in the picture but it was really huge.


Here are the Wii stands with games including Mario party 8, Mario Strickers Charged Football and Wii Sports.


Meowth came on stage to take some photos with the tournament finalists.


Pikachu then came on stage but photos with him were exclusive to the winners.


Here are the colouring tables where children could colour in Dialga and Palkia.


I don't think Palkia is that colour... XD


Here is a Top 8 Pokemon Battler who lost but still gets a cool Pokemon prize bag.


The winner of the Pokemon tournement gets this Black DS Lite which says "Connection Tour 07 Champion" on it along with heaps of other cool stuff.


Now comes the Final Pokemon Battle, here are the two trainers about to fight.


First is Slaking verses Froslass.


Froslass is quickly swapped with Lucario.


Lucario then barely holds on as it knocks out Slaking, then Latios is sent out.


Latios finishes off Lucario then Heidi sends out her Froslass once again.


Froslass KO's Latios, then Azelf is sent into battle. Azelf almost faints but Focus Sash makes it just hold on.


Heidi beats Paul in the end.

And thats my exciting day at the Connection Tour, afterwoods I have an exciting hour and a half trip home. :P
