Australian Release: March 2008

Great Encounters is the next Trading Card Game expansion to be released. Three theme decks will be available in this series and they are named Eternal Time (Dialga), Infinite Space (Palkia), and Endless Night (Darkrai). The series will also feature for the first time Darkrai who will be officially revealed with this expansion. The series will feature a new batch of Diamond and Pearl Pokemon not featured yet in previous expansions including new Pokemon Lv. X cards. Along with Darkrai, Cresselia will also feature in this series since they both are connected with each other. Pokemon Great Encounters will feature over 100 cards and will be released in America this February (2008) but no date is set for Australia yet.
