HALLOWEEN STORY

Below is the Halloween story for 2007 written by me. Each day leading up to Halloween a piece of the story was posted slowly revealing a fictional creation story about Spiritomb, Spiritomb however actually is made of 108 souls but of Pokemon not humans. Anyway I hope you enjoy it.

Long ago violence took place where malevolent humans and their Pokemon attacked an old village so they could take over the land. The community contained one hundred and eight villagers who had a way of protecting themselves in life threatening events like this...

The village had a well which they believed to be the resting place of an ancient Pokemon, this Pokemon had great power and the well earned the name, the Spirit Tower Well.

The Spirit Tower Well contained a hidden underground room at the bottom so when the villagers heard of the attackers impending ever closer, they all headed down the well as a secret hiding place for protection.

One hundred and seven villagers where present in the Spirit Tower Well with one person missing, the villagers soon realized it was a mean greedy man who lived alone and it was not long before villagers knew where he was.

The villagers in the underground remained quiet while the crowd of attackers and their Pokemon approached the town looking for the townspeople they planed to wipe out.

While all was silent in the well, the villagers heard a conversation in the distance.
“Where are the villagers?”
“We always hide in that well which has an underground room below”
“You have been a big help Ominous but I would rather keep the gold so I will have to extinguish you too, now Weezing, Poison Gas attack on Ominous and the well.”

Before the villagers knew it, a noxious gas rushed down from the top of the well and filled the underground room, the people where trapped and eventually all one hundred and eight villagers passed away.

As the souls of all one hundred and eight villagers left their bodies, the ancient Pokemon combined them altogether into a formless spirit.

The ancient Pokemon then left a description on the well in hope that a human can connect the last piece of an ancient prophecy and allow those villagers a new life as a single Pokemon.

“A human pure underground like those lives lost. Thirty two people must they meet to fulfill the cost. Then thou must mine to possess a stone in the underground core. It will be the key to raise the souls once more. As one soul betrayed a town so raw, a stone you must bare forever more.”

Once a keystone is placed above the Spirit Tower Well, the spirit made of the one hundred and eight combined souls comes to life as the Pokemon Spiritomb. The souls are forever bound to the keystone as a punishment for Ominous who caused the death of the town. The story lives on with Spiritomb’s attack Ominous Wind; As Ominous Wind spreads despair over the opposing Pokemon so did the poison gas which caused the townspeople to lose their lives.
