JOHTO LEAGUE CHAMPIONS



Okay this is a continuation from the previous Johto series. Here Ash starts by going for his third badge and continues his journey to fight in the Johto league from there. Below is a list of important events that take place during this season.

Important Events in the series include:

Ash gets lost in Goldenrod City and is then helped out by the Gym Leader Whitney. Ash loses to her Miltank’s Rollout the first time but wins the next and is then given the Plain Badge.

Ash meets up with Casey again in the Bug Catching Contest. Ash captures a Beedrill which he gives to Casey since it has yellow and black stripes. Casey’s Chikorita also evolves into Bayleef to save Ash and Pikachu from Team rocket.

Brock’s Zubat evolves into Golbat after the group gets lost in an underground cave.

Brock meets up with Suzy and gives her back his Vulpix so she can enter it in a Beauty Contest.

Gary shows off his newly evolved Umbreon as he teams up with Ash to beat Team Rocket.

The Snubbull following Ash, Misty and Brock evolves into a Granbull and since Madam Muchmoney has learned to be more out going and adventurous, Granbull is more then happy to return home.

When Togepi gets lost and is found by a Houndoom deliverer, it is up to Houndoom to return it to Misty. Along the way the two witness a Raikou.

Ash battles Morty, the Ekruteak City Ghost Gym Leader and wins earning him the Fog Badge.

Snap makes a come back and helps the gang solve the mystery of the missing Sunflora.

Ash and Todd are saved by an Articuno when they fall off an Icy Cliff.

Brock’s Golbat evolves into its final and new Johto form, Crobat.

Ash’s Chikorita evolves into Bayleef and since it loves Ash it continuously runs towards him and resulting in Ash being knocked over. Ash yells at Bayleef causing it to leave Ash. Ash then finds Bayleef and apologizes.

Kecleon makes an appearance in the anime to give people a taste of the Hoenn series to come.

Ash arrives in Olivine City and sees that the Gym Leader’s Pokemon is sick; Ash must travel to Cianwood Island and get her some medicine.

Ash beats the Cianwood Gym Leader Chuck and earns the Storm Badge.
