In My Pokemon Ranch up to eight different Diamond and Pearl games can each send up to 1000 Pokemon for storage which is great if you own more then one copy. Pokemon Farm much like Pokemon Box simply acts as a storage system since the boxes in Diamond and Pearl tend to fill up quickly, the Pokemon can be sorted into boxes just like the DS games but you can also allow them to freely wonder around.



What gives the game its name is the ability to use your Mii's and walk around a farm and interact with the Pokemon you have stored there, activities include playing with your Pokemon and sitting around a camp fire. Since this is a WiiWare title, the game has N64 style graphics so the Pokemon are given a polygonal effect to suite this.



You can interact with your Pokemon and they can interact with each other. It appears that more then one player at a time can wonder around the farm but whether the multiplayer can be used over Wi-Fi is unkown. You are however able to take photos and send them over WiiConnect24 to registered Wiis or save them to an SD card.

Yukari each day will bring a new Pokemon she caught to her farm, it is not yet known if you can send it to your Diamond and Pearl games though you most likely can. Yukari also gives you information about Pokemon you are yet to see in your PokeDex to help you find them and complete it. On certain days Yukari will have a special Pokemon she will be willing to trade, give her the Pokemon she wants and you can send it to your D/P games.

The more Pokemon you load onto the farm, the more options that become available, such as more toys and items for your Pokemon to play with and more camera options allowing you to focus on many different positions of the form and it's Pokemon. It would seem that the more Pokemon you load onto the Farm, the more Mii's you can use also.

Pokemon Ranch is looking to be very worth while amoung Pokemon fans and will be something great just to leave on your TV so you can watch the many unique ways all your Pokemon act and behave.
