POKEMON RANGER SHADOWS OF ALMIA

Pokemon Ranger: Shadows of Almia is set for release in Japan on March 20th and the US this November. The game starts off with a male and female who just graduated from Pokemon Ranger school and are about to start their new careers. You can choose your partner Pokemon from Munchlax, Mime Jr., Cranidos, Kricketot, Croagunk, Machop, Shieldon, Piplup, Chimchar, Turtwig, Pachirisu, Starly, Snover, Hippopotas, Misdreavus, Gible or Sneasel when you become a Pokemon Rangers in the land of Almia.


The game is similar to the original however some new features have been added including Quests you can do for people in the many places of Almia and you can collect special upgrades for your Stylus by completing these extra missions. Finally you are able to Surf on Pokemon as seen below in the scans and it is believed that the game will make use of the Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection but will this game have another Event Pokemon like the first Pokemon Ranger? Only time will tell. The games release is very close to that of Pokemon movie 11 which is rumoured to feature Shaymin so it may be possible for people in Japan to download a Shaymin mission to Pokemon Ranger: Shadows of Almia when going to watch the movie.
