STATUS CONDITIONS
Below are all the status conditions that can infect Pokemon, each causes negative effects. If a target Pokemon you wish to catch is affected with one of the following, it increases your chances of catching the Pokemon especially if they are effected by Sleep or Freeze.
| Burn |
Lowers attack and loses HP each turn. |
| Confusion |
Sometimes attacks itself instead of opponent. |
| Flinch |
Can't move for that turn. |
| Freeze |
Can't use moves until a fire attack is used or ice melts. |
| Infatuate |
Pokemon of the opposite gender as the opponent will be unable to attack 50% of the time. |
| Paralyze |
25% of Attacks fail and Speed is lowered. |
| Poison |
Loses HP each turn and for every step you take till only 1HP is left. |
| Sleep |
Cannot attack till the condition is removed though a very limited amount of attacks can be used while Pokemon are asleep. |
